Construction Toys all started in 1934 from the humble beginnings of a Danish Carpenter, Ole Kirk. Lego was born and, nearly 80 years on, it remains an influential force in the world of construction toys. Many other brands have since entered the market, including Meccano Sets, Mega Blocks and, Magnext and, one of Toy Stars' favourites, Knex.
